Where do I start. Wade is a great person, he installed cctv & hot tub and a hive heating control. Average price. Clean and tidy. Would recommend to friends and family
OK! This is regarding a radiator flushing work for which I had contacted Wade in Mid-November ! I had seen the numerous positive reviews on google and contacted him . His whatsapp response was quick and he gave me a quick quote and we agreed on the dates for the work. When the day arrived, as there was no sign of him in the morning, I contacted him and that's when he said he had wrongly booked me for the following week.Just to mention all our conversations are on whatsapp so I don't have a clue how can this happen!Considering the positive reviews he had I decided to wait for another week. On the day, flushing job completed in 2 hours instead of a whole Day as estimated earlier as he didn't clean individual radiators, but just repeatedly flushed one radiator.Also he charged me 150 pounds less than the initial quote. But do mind the final amount charged is quite high considering it was just a 2 hour job instead of a 6 or 8 hour as estimated by him earlier. The payment was made online and he said I could get back in case of any issues and also he would be happy to carry out any electric work if required in future. 2 days post the work, couple of my radiators started the rattling noise again and this time when I contacted him, the responses were not as fast(or he seemed to be busy all the time).I have tried contacting him nearly 4 or 5 times since the work (do mind it spans more than a month post the work) and no joy still.So finally I decided to add this review and I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend them!
Really great job from Watertight plumbing. Boiler replaced and new flushing system to the toilet installed. Would thoroughly recommend Watertight for being competitive, professional and reliable.
Wade provides a professional and responsive service. We agreed on a small emergency job at short notice and he arrived punctually, carrying out the work efficiently. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and will have further work for him in the New Year.
Wade has done a lot of work for us over the past year in relation to an extension we were having built. Initially I was impressed by his professionalism in replying promptly to messages and his helpful, can-do attitude. However, over time it became clear that his and his partner's work was, although technically "to regs", sometimes sloppy and lacking in attention to detail. For example, he forgot to put in the electrics needed for the new central heating system and so had to use trunking to hide cables that should have already been hidden in the newly plastered walls. However, he is courteous and consientious about coming back to put things right, and it is this high level of customer service that earns him repeat custom. He also seems to have taken on board feedback and more recently has been working unencumbered by his previous partner, making more careful checks and paying greater attention to detail.
